I've been meaning to post a new one since the start of the year, but I keep getting distracted (if you can count school as a distraction). The first three weeks were a little rough, since I caught whatever cold was going around in California around New Year's, then got whatever was going around in Utah after I got over the that. I also turned 26 last month, and then realized that when my dad was my age, I was alive.
In school, we've finally started animating in Maya this semester, which has been a fun challenge. I've finally found Maya's autosave feature and enabled that, so using Maya is a ton less stressful now. So far I'm working on the third of four projects, the first two which I've already posted here now that I can post in the Film and Animation category. I'm also retaking Drawing For Animation. It was very fun and educational the first time around, and I'm still learning new things this second time. I get to have the coolest homework ever. I'll also be in Ryan Woodward's half-semester Experimental Animation class when it starts up at the end of the month.
I should also mention that the student animation, DreamGiver, that I helped out on during the fall of 2010 is finally online! I worked on 2D animation cleanup and coloring.

Unfinished project status:
The second 3D still-life image from last semester's Maya class: rendering - refraction and non-grainy depth-of-field are very taxing on rendering time, apparently. Finally have enough time to have my computer spend the next few days rendering it out.
60 Seconds to Deliver - Flash game - Currently on permanent hiatus. Not sure how I like how things had been going with this project.
Bridges of the Mertynn - Flash game - On hiatus while school-related projects take priority.
Not sure if I'm forgetting anything.
